Sometimes Julie hand-prints short-run fabric lengths in the studio. Never to be repeated, one-off pieces. Sometimes these fabrics become wall hangings, sometimes cushions and lampshades and when she's making the work, she listens to music.
You Bring Me Joy by Anita Baker is one of the songs she listened to during the making of the piece of fabric that became this cushion. (She made a couple of lampshades and another cushion from it too.)
The title is stitched onto the reverse side. Thank you, baby.
All our cushions are made from our hand-printed midweight linen and fitted with an invisible zip. We prewash the covers to get that relaxed, no-need-to-iron look that we all love nowadays.
