Sometimes Julie hand-prints short-run fabric lengths in the studio. Never to be repeated, one-off pieces. Sometimes these fabrics become wall hangings, sometimes cushions and lampshades and when she's making the work, she listens to music.
I Told You I Was Freaky is a song by Flight Of The Conchords, one of the weirder songs that Julie listened to during the making of the piece of fabric that became this cushion.
The title is stitched onto the reverse side.
This cushion is made from hand-printed heavyweight linen and is fitted with an invisible zip. We prewash the covers to get that relaxed, no-need-to-iron look that we all love nowadays.
